Our Founders
The Life Settlement Company of America was co-founded by two long-time friends with over 25 years of combined financial services experience.
Richard Nemet
Mr. Nemet has been in the financial services industry for the better part of 12 years. As a former owner of an NASD registered broker dealer, Richard is an expert in financial brokerage operations. He has been instrumental in raising over $100 million dollars in private capital, creating hundreds of jobs and launching several companies. Richard is a graduate of Rutgers College, Rutgers University. He currently lives in Short Hills, NJ with his wife and three children
Robert Settlow
Robert is co-founder and Chief Operations Officer of The Life Settlement Company of America. Mr. Settlow has been originating and processing financial transactions for 14 years. Robert has been directly involved in over 1,350 financial transactions with a total market value of $390 million dollars. Robert is a graduate of Newark Academy and earned his bachelors degree from Ithaca College. He lives with his family in Glen Rock, New Jersey. |
